| Abstract: | The article analyses the existing definitions of the concepts of "regional development", "local self-government" and "17 Sustainable Development Goals"; identifies the factors that had the greatest impact on the socio-economic development of Ukrainian regions; develops models for cluster analysis of socio-economic development of regions of Ukraine and Slovakia; builds systems of principal components; identifies the most and least developed Ukrainian regions by means of ranking on the basis of the obtained values of the principal components; considers methods of state regulation of regional development. |
