Abstract: | Technology is constantly evolving and the educational process is not standing still, but it also needs to be constantly improved. This applies to both teacher training and the use or creation of new teaching technologies. Traditional teaching methods are gradually being replaced by new, active methods that inspire foreign language learners with their variety and effectiveness. It is interactive technologies that motivate pupils and students to learn foreign languages with pleasure, because the learning process takes place in a friendly atmosphere, mutual respect and positive interaction not only with the teacher, but also with classmates or fellow students, working in pairs or groups, which contributes to the development of communication competence, exchange of experience, ability to express their opinions and argue their point of view. Students put the new material into practice in the form of games, discussions, brainstorming, debates, problem-solving, etc. It is important to emphasise that no one dominates the classroom, not the teacher, not the students, not the opinions. Equality, non-confrontation and respect for others are essential in this classroom, otherwise communication cannot be successful and the learning process will always be productive. |
